About the ThermiSmooth Procedures
ThermiSmooth™ is a procedure for improving the appearance of aging skin through tightening and increasing collagen production over a period of time. It uses a unique handpiece to deliver targeted heating to the surface of the skin. Skin texture, tone and laxity show improvement over a course of 3-4 treatments.
ThermiSmooth Face treats the forehead, eyes, cheeks, mouth, and neck. If you have problem areas such as sagging eyelids, wrinkles around the eyes or mouth or sagging jowls, ThermiSmooth Face is an excellent option to consider.
ThermiSmooth Body is the other option to consider. This procedure treats the chest, breasts, arms, stomach, flanks, back, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, calves and ankles. ThermiSmooth Body tightens and lifts those troublesome areas with cellulite or saggy/flabby skin. ThermiSmooth® Body is performed by targeting the areas under the skin, providing a temporary reduction of cellulite. There are a series of applications over 6-8 weeks that are gentle, and patients often say it feels like receiving a warm massage.
Depending on the area being completed, ThermiSmooth generally takes 20-30 minutes and is repeated every 3 weeks. There is no pain or irritation associated with the procedures.
Dr. Solomon will help you determine if you are a good candidate for ThermiSmooth Body or ThermiSmooth Face. Because Thermi Radiofrequency products should not be used on patients who are pregnant, have fever or skin infection in or around the area of application, he will perform the required testing to confirm you are negative for infection or pregnancy.
